Little sleep after a herd of elephants (in the guise of a group of american teenagers) thundered through the youth hostel the previous night. Rested slightly weary legs by walking into Inverness to take in the sights and to refresh supplies - also finally had phone synced allowing me to commuincate with the outside world . A picturesque city centre with views from casttle over the riger - obvious signs though of depressed econonmy with lots of run down buildings and unemployed . Cycled 5 kms for accommodtaion for the night on outskirts of town just beating thunderstorm to prepare for day 6
